Groupe Conseil CHG was mandated for the supervision of road resurfacing, including pulverization of asphalt contaminated with asbestos, placement of asphalt concrete layer including levelling correction, road restraint systems replacement and rumble strips execution. The construction site span over 4,5 km westward and work was completed at night, to limit the impacts on traffic.
CHG’s team members were responsible for the supervision of traffic maintenance and signalling, technical supervision on site, amendment and payment recommandation preparation, animation of the regular coordination meetings, budget and schedule monitoring and other related tasks.
This project allowed to extend the lifespan of this important highway in the region, used daily by more than 30 000 vehicules
