To ensure the sustainability of its highway structures, the City of Québec commissioned Groupe Conseil CHG to provide professional civil and structural engineering services for a visual inspection of the Joseph-Samson bridge and tunnel, preparation of a report on the condition of the structural elements and roadway, and preparation of plans and specifications, including an estimate for the remedial work required.
Groupe Conseil CHG was tasked with assessing the condition of the concrete elements, roadways and sidewalks, and carrying out the necessary remedial work to ensure the structure’s sustainability.
